Labels labels labels

Such a big fuss over plant labels. OSSEA (Orchid Society) is promoting proper labeling of competition plants. Today I heard feedback on labeling at work. I spent my day making label after label for the Children's Garden (not that I don't enjoy my work, mind you.). Back home and I'm still making yet more labels. I've been fiddling with the 'tech', trying to come up with plant labels for my collection. No, its not me being an overly-meticulous twit. My plants need care and sometimes I'm just not around to give it to them for whatever reason. So hopefully colour-coded labels would help make my plant-sitter's life less miserable.

I started off making pretty sensible ones, with simple care instructions and a bit of info on the plant origin, parentage or morphology (that's mainly for my reference). But there are some plants that I really don't have anything interesting to say about. Thus, some of my plants have labels with minimal yadda and a touch more personality.

Because the world has enough boring instruction manuals.
